How much does an Xray cost on average?

Prices for Xray vary greatly depending on

  • the city and facility you go to
  • the body part

You have to keep in mind that an Xray results in the patient being billed by 2 different entities. A patient should expect separate bills from the radiologist office and facility.

Without insurance, a patient should on average expect to pay $3000 for a Xray. A considerable savings can be achieved if you schedule through Radiology Assist.

Why is the cost of an Xray significantly lower through the program?

Radiology Assist was founded on the principle that health care should be affordable and accessible to everyone. The lower cost is achieved by convincing physicians and facilities to agree to accept a discounted rate to support the mission of the program. The wonderful physicians that participate in the program are the real ones to thank.
